I'm pleased to say that all the glowing reviews are true. New Era Coins & Currency is the place to go If you want to buy or sell jewelry and coins. John Polo is very fair with his appraisals and has many years of experience in this bussiness. My brother is a fanatic when it comes to coins, and constantly buys, sells or trades them. John always takes the time to inspect the items, and we always leave happy. I brought few pieces of gold jewelry I didn't want anymore and sold it here at a good price. Couple days ago my brother bought a beautiful vintage Russian set of silver goblets as a Christmas gift for our Mother at a very reasonable price. I was actually so surprised with the price that I kept asking if he was for real. Very ethical bussiness with friendly people. Best prices on precious metals in Chicago, very low premium.

I had coins from a deceased uncle. It was quite a collection, much of it of little value. Ralph spend hours going through the stuff and spent time explaining what I had or didn't have. We found some nice values and I felt he was very fair in his judgement. You have to put a lot of trust in their hands and I'm very pleased.
